1. Open the engine compartment

4 . Remove the oxygen sensor plug

Press the connecting plug catch of the oxygen sensor to unplug and disconnect the plug.


5. Remove the old oxygen sensor
Place the special sleeve for the oxygen sensor over the sensor and remove the old sensor by turning it counterclockwise to loosen it.If the sensor is stuck due to rust and corrosion problems common to high mileage vehicles, spray penetrating oil and let it sit for at least 10 minutes to fully lubricate before proceeding, do not force it to be removed.
